Kenwood hand mixer - gift I got from my Manito Boogie

When I saw this hand mixer at Panda Hypermarket brochure, I then announced that what I want from my manito for our new year (2012) exchange gift is a Kenwood hand mixer.

My manito is good, he granted my wish. (yepeeeyyy!!!)

Thank you Manito Boogie. I can now enhance my baking skills for cakes and pastries. (Ehem, excuse me, is there any?) My next career, as a pastry chef (how I wish.) wink. wink. wink.

Beats by Dr. Dre - Studio

I had my Beats by Dr. Dre early this year.
I love the studio sounds. Superb bass.  Only set back is that if you turn the volume halfway, the next person beside you can hear the music that you are enjoying. If you turn the volume full, you can literally just put the headphones down and enjoy the music like using a small speaker. Music leakage. tsk tsk tsk.
 uses 2 AAA batteries.

Dr. Dre is a good headphone but too pricey. (But I still had one, ugh!)

Pleasures by Estee Lauder - a gift from my mom

My first ever Pleasures by Estee Lauder was a birthday gift (year 2000) from my aunt Ida, straight from Germany. That was when I fell in love with the delicate and flowery smell of Pleasures. This is one of my favorite perfumes.

June 2011, during my annual vacation, Mama gave me this perfume as her belated birthday gift to me and advance Christmas gift. Little did I know that this will be the last gift that I will receive from my mama. We lost her to breast cancer last November 4, 2011.
Only chosen few perfumes passed my delicate sense of smell as I have allergic rhinitis.

I received my first Pleasures Intense, (2 bottles) again from my aunt Ida. Unfortunately,  this one is too strong for me.  I got runny nose and migraine. That time, I thought it might be because of dust that I experienced a bad cold. (Excuses, excuses, excuses). Nevertheless, I wore it again after my stuffy nose was cleared. Don't get me wrong, Pleasures Intense smells good but as what I have said, it's just too strong for my sensitive nose.

We lost our mother to breast cancer - We love you Mama Lily

When I think back on these times
And the dreams we left behind.
I'll be glad 'cause I was blessed to get
To have you in my life.
When I look back on these days.
I'll look and see your face
You were right there for me.
In my dreams I'll always see
 you soar above the sky.
In my heart there'll always be a place for you
for all my life.
I'll keep a part of you with me
And everywhere I am there you'll be.
And everywhere I am there you'll be.
Well you showed me how it feels.
To feel the sky within my reach.
And I always will remember
All the strength you gave to me.
Your love made me make it through.
Oh, I owe so much to you.
You were right there for me.
In my dreams I'll always see you
soar above the sky.

In my heart there'll always be a place for you
for all my life.

I'll keep a part of you with me
And everywhere I am there you'll be.
And everywhere I am there you'll be.

'Cause I always saw in you
My light, my strength

And I want to thank you
now for all the ways.

You were right there for me.
You were right there for me.

In my dreams I'll always see you
soar above the sky.

In my heart there'll always be a place for you
for all my life.

I'll keep a part of you with me

And everywhere I am there you'll be.
And everywhere I am there you'll be.
There you'll be.
